Mr. Omar Saeed (Chairman)
Mr. Omar Saeed is the Chairman of the
board of Ovex Technologies, a 900 person BPO company
that he founded in 2003. He is also a Director
of the Service Group, one of Pakistan's largest
industrial conglomerates. Prior to founding Ovex,
he ran Service Sales Corporation and grew its
business from $25M to $40M in three years.
Mr. Saeed has worked for two Silicon
Valley companies. He was an early stage employee
at Homewarehouse.com which was acquired by Walmart.
He has also worked for a supply chain company
that was founded by McKinsey and Co.
Mr. Saeed has an undergraduate degree
from Brown University where he graduated magna
cum laude and holds a MBA from Harvard Business
School.
Mr. Faisal Khan (CEO and Director)
Mr. Khan is the CEO of Ovex Technologies
and is a Chartered Accountant by profession. Prior
to his joining Ovex Technologies, he has been
working with KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co. as a Partner
for approximately a year and half. During his
tenure of all inclusive 20 years with KPMG Taseer
Hadi & Co. he spent two years with KPMG Oman,
on international secondment.
With KPMG, Mr. Khan has been involved
primarily with assurance and some advisory work.
His areas of expertise included banks and financial
institutions, manufacturing concerns and retails
businesses. He is well conversant with risk management
and SOX requirements.
He is a member of The Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Pakistan.
Mr. Arif Baigmohammed (Director)
From 1991 to 1995 Mr. Baigmohammed worked
for a Coca-Cola bottling company, rising to Head
of Operations and Marketing before leaving in
1995 to attend business school. After his graduation
from the Harvard Business School in 1997, he spent
two years doing international project development
of large infrastructure projects in the energy
and telecom fields and international M&A/privatization
transactions for Enron International, where he
assisted in the acquisition and development of
over $3.0 Billion in new projects in India, Brazil,
Venezuela, Puerto Rico and the United States.
From 2000 to 2002 he was Chief Operating Officer
of SetNet Corp, a Silicon Valley hi-tech software
company. He is currently Chairman and CEO of Cinepax
Ltd., Pakistan’s first nationally branded chain
of multiplexes, and also the co-founder of Box
Office (Pvt.) Ltd., Pakistan’s first nationally
branded film distribution company; representing
all major Hollywood studios in Pakistan.
Mr. Baigmohamed holds a BA from Brown University
and a MBA from Harvard University.
Mr. Edward O. Hunter (Director)
Mr. Hunter serves on the board as a nominee of
En Pointe Technologies.
Mr. Hunter is a graduate of The George Washington
University, National Law Center in Washington,
D. C. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, also
with honors, from the University of Utah and speaks
Italian fluently. He earned a Certificate in International
Taxation from the University of New Hampshire
and has been ISS Certified as a corporate director
by the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management.
